Brodog999@gmail.com just doesnt work for a resume, sorry.Your mailing address actually isnt necessary, but the phone number is essential. Dont worry, its not like that creepy guy in math class who keeps asking for your number. You actually want this sort of phone call. How about social media? Not needed on a resume template for high school students. But do check your online presence and make your settings private. You dont want an employer seeing anything embarrassing.Lets move on.Resume ObjectiveResume objective. It sounds like something youd be forced to write for a term paper. But I promise this is much less painful. Its just a brief introductory statement for your resume. This is what you do.Specifically m ention the job youre applying for.List your skills and achievements that make you suitable.Include your goals and the experience you want to get from the job. Objectives are perfect for a high school resume because they focus on skills and goals, not work experience.Though if you do have work experience we recommend you use a resume summary. Which brings us to the next resume section.Work ExperienceIf you dont have any, leave this section out and dont worry. Hiring managers will understand you dont have 10+ years experience as CEO of a tech startup. However, if you do have some work experience, then you must include it. Doing so will make you stand out from other high school students and employers love hands-on experience.Do it like this.Put your most recent job first, going backwards in order for any others. This is called chronological resume format.Include place you worked, job title, and period of employment. Just the month and year is fine.Write up to six bullet points that dont just list your duties, but help to show off achievements and skills. Employers dont want to just know what you do, but how you did it well. That said, be reassured, all the examples will also work as a resume template for high school students with no work experience. Now for a section relevant for every high schooler.EducationIf only you could get away with being too cool for school. Theres no avoiding it though, youre still a student. Education is your full-time gig and work is goning to be a side hustle for now.Dont be tempted to leave out your education section. Its what you spend most of your time doing!Heres how to list it properly:Highlight academic achievements like a good GPA. If its 3.5 or higher, put your GPA on your resume, if not then leave it out.Make this section first if you havent got work experience. With our resume builder, you can just leave the work experience section out to make your education come first. Now to add some skills.SkillsNo, I dont mean your ability to communicate only in memes, though I love a good cat meme myself. I mean the key skills thatll make an employer say Youre hired.Heres what you need to know. They come in two types. Hard skills for a resume and soft skills.Hard skills are those you specifically learn, like programming.Soft skills come more from experience and common sense, not formal learning. Think teamwork and communication skills.Dont just google skills and go copypaste crazy though. Thatll make you as popular as a week of fish stick tacos for lunch.Be smart about it, theres actually a free cheat sheet you can use and its called the job ad. Just read it, note the skills the employer wants and if you have that skill put it on your resume.Thats how you create a targeted resume. Incidentally, ever thought about lying on your resume? Dont. Ultimately, you will be caught.Additional SectionsEverybody loves a little something extra and employers are no exception. A high school student resume template without additional sec tions is like an Oreo without a filling, nobody wants that. When youve got no work experience employers need a little more convincing that youre a good candidate. Additional sections do just that. Here are some ideas.HobbiesStick to ones that show off employment skills. Do you play team sports? This shows off teamwork and leadership skills. Into chess? This shows intelligence and strategic thinking.Clown cosplay? No. Thats just weird and scary. You get the picture.VolunteeringA great choice, because 82% of managers look favorably on volunteering experience. 85% will even overlook other faults on your resume if you show youre a volunteer.LanguagesAlways include resume language skills. Speaking another language is a big plus, especially for customer-facing jobs.Extracurricular ActivitiesSome stuff doesnt fall neatly under the sections above. Activities like academic clubs and other high school organizations are perfect to include, too.And thats what you need to include on a high school student resume template. As a little bonus. One thing you should never include. A resume photo. You look great and all, but including your picture could get your resume trashed. One last tip. The best resume file format is PDF. That way all your good formatting and design stay intact. But do keep another format just in case the job requires it.Ok, schools out. Now for the fun part. A selection of high school resume templates for you to choose from. Most of them are ours, but there are a few from other sources, too.1VibesUse this templateOk, it does sound a little like a kind of sneaker, but I promise, this is not one of Kanyes latest business ventures. Its actually a perfect resume template for a high school student. The most important stuff, like your education and achievements, get plenty of room in a nice wide column. The other details like your personal info are safely tucked away to the side, visible but not in your face. It also helps employers find important info easily. The sec tion titles have helpful icons and are in a different color text to help guide their eyes to what they want to see.2EnfoldUse this templateEnfold is another excellent resume template for high school students. Its set out in two-column format, which keeps it feeling nice and modern. Its also one of our most colorful templates. The two-tone effect is really eye-catching with dark text on white to the left and white text on dark to the right. Combine that with the skills bars and you get a feel thats like a well-designed app or website. Its youthful and fresh, but professional too, just like you.3CubicUse this templateDont worry, this isnt math class and you dont need to calculate the volume of this cube. Its another colorful and contemporary high school resume template. The two-column format is used to good effect again, but this time in a calm duck egg blue. Hiring managers wont forget your name as its boldly set out in a dark header. Great visuals and very professional looking too, its one of my personal favorites.4Minimalist OrangeThis example comes from Resume Genius and its called Minimalist Orange. The name and the color scheme looks like something James Charles couldve come up, but keeps it looking very professional. You can easily edit this free high school resume template in Word.Heres the link to this template.5DiamondUse this templateDiamond by name, diamond by nature. The jewel-shaped resume icons give this one a very distinctive and distinguished feel. When you think of diamonds you think of beauty and value. This high school resume template will suggest those qualities to anyone who reads it.The single-column format gives you lots of room to fill with job-winning info and the dark header provides a perfect contrast. My favorite feature is the little diamond necklace timeline to the left. Look how it guides your eye down the page. It really is a gem of a template.6MuseUse this templateMuse isnt just a British band that your parents used to listen to . Its another design thats a great choice for a high school student resume template. This one leaves out the header bar and goes back to two-column format but, its also got another trick up its sleeve. Its the graphics. Those uniquely shaped little icons do two things. First they point you to the title of the section and then they point you down to the content. Clever isnt it?7NewcastUse this templateBack to Zetys own templates now with Newcast. Quite simple overall with a single column and no fancy header. Look closely though and theres a very neat twist. Look at the icons, each one is a little infographic of the section it goes with. Theyre subtle, but infographics make your resume more persuasive. A great way of improving your chances in your job hunt.8Red LinesA very simple but very eye-catching template from Canva. It uses similar visual tricks to Zety but with interesting differences. The sidebar is reduced to a narrow stripe and the resume header is a neat little box. Then the red theme continues with horizontal lines to the left and red text to the right. Colorful but still professional and tasteful.Heres the link to this template.9PrimoUse this templateQuite a different feel to this one, can you see it? It goes for two columns like many of our other templates, but uses a circular theme for the icons. It does away with the dark header and instead puts your initials into a large round seal. It brings to mind a mark of quality, another clever way of influencing the hiring manager to mark you as the best candidate. This one also looks amazing on fancy resume paper, the monotone color scheme makes sure of that. Perfect for when you need to hand out copies of your resume.10ModernUse this templateIf I had to go for a number one choice for a high school student resume template, Id go for this one. Its name says it all, fresh and modern. Just right for a youthful job seeker. The half-width bars on top and bottom give it a nice balance and the layout adds to that balanced feeling. Very pleasing on the eye. Try it for yourself.11CrispUse this templateCrisp is another great choice as a high school job resume template. Its a smooth and clean monochrome design, so its another one that looks great on paper. With no dark bars to the side or on top it makes good use of white space. Thats layout speak for the blank sections on the page and it helps to make your resume easy to read. It also helps to make all the sections nicely separated and easy to locate. White space is powerful stuff. Thats why all our templates use it well.12. SpearmintEveryone is using G Suite these days. Its what I used to write this guide. So by popular demand heres a high school template for Google Docs. It uses simple and attractive fonts, its got a nice uncomplicated resume layout, and the green color accents are pure class. Just make sure youve got an account with Google and youre set.Heres the link to this template. Youll see it under resumes.13ConceptUse this templateA resume template for high school students thatll give an excellent first impression. This one makes good use of a timeline format with dates included in the column to the left. Then round icons and bullet points connect the dots, guiding the eye so every section gets read. Itll make you stand out as a professional and well-organized candidate for any job.14CascadeUse this templateIf youve got plenty to say then this is the high school resume template for you. The sidebar isnt just a design feature, its full of information, too. Think of the bottom half of the left column as a health bar in a game. The higher it is, the better it looks so choose abilities that you can really level up with. When making a resume in our builder, drag drop bullet points, skills, and auto-fill the boring stuff. Spell check? Check. Start building your resume here.Create my resume nowWhen youre done, Zetys resume builder will score your resume and tell you exactly how to make it better.15IconicUse this templ ateIcons are a big part of modern resume layout. So important that weve named this template iconic. The icons feature right from the start in the header details then accompany each section heading. Apart from the iconic accents, its a simple single-column format that looks great in print. Perfect for using if youre applying for a job with a more conservative employer.16. PolishedIf you want a high school resume template in Word, then give this one a try. Its called Polished and its available within Word. Just create a new file and search for Polished resume if you dont see it straight away in the suggested results. The color is a nice light red, so its not too aggressive. The combination circle and rectangle header looks super modern and the layout looks so neat and tidy, too. Its obvious that a lot of thought went into this design. Just be careful to save your high school resume template in PDF and check everything still looks good.17InfluxUse this templateAn influx is a large numbe r of people or things arriving at the same time. Use this resume template for high school students and you can be sure of an influx. An influx of job interview requests that is. There are no fancy icons, but its saved from being plain by the dark header and a couple of well-placed health bars. Another choice thatll make you look accomplished and professional beyond your years.18InitialsUse this templateNo need for bad jokes with this one. The name does exactly what it promises. There are your initials, stylishly stamped beside your name. Theres so much going on with this template, but it avoids looking complicated. There are two columns filled with info, infographic icons, health bars, and to top it off theres even a pop of colored text. Its amazing how much you can fit into one page.19SimpleUse this templateAs simple by nature as it is by name. Two columns with minimal graphics and lots of room to include everything an employer needs to know. If you like keeping it understated, the n this is an excellent choice for your high school student resume.20MinimoUse this templateWhen you get to level 36, it evolves to Blastoise. No, wait, thats Pokemon sorry. This is just a very simple but still very effective high school resume template you can use to help get you a job. Its stopped from being too plain with the addition of some text color and a couple of health bars.21NanicaUse this templateAt first glance it looks like our Minimo template, but this one strips it back even further. Just a single color for text and the health bars have been switched to square icons. Theres plenty of white space too so you can be sure itll be easy to read.22ValeraUse this templateThis is the last of our high school resume templates. Weve saved a special one for last. It makes use of font pairing. See how the cursive script for the headings looks just right paired up with font in the sections themselves? Thats good font pairing. Just like youve got a best friend at school, fonts also h ave pairings that just work. If you ever want to use this trick yourself, try out fontjoy to get an idea of attractive pairings.Key TakeawayAs you can see, weve got a great choice of resume designs that all work well as high school resume templates.Theres plenty of other sources of high school student resume template out there too, if you do some digging. Keeping Your Family and Business Safe Online
Keeping Your Family and Business Safe Online The internet has brought a lot of conveniences to our lives. Whether itâs a Google search that ends an argument or researching a business deal, the internet has given us access to information we could have only dreamed of years ago. But with all good things comes warnings. There are plenty of reasons why your business (and family) needs good cyber security. Here are the most valuable tools to ensure your family and your business remain safe online: Keep Your Family Safe Prevent Identity Fraud Cybersecurity is one of the most important things to focus on as a parent and an adult. Parents should be more aware than ever of their infants and toddlersâ identities. Cyberthieves are known to steal a childâs SSN and open accounts in their name. This type of fraud can completely destroy a childâs credit history before they even reach adulthood. This type of identity fraud can make a permanent stain on your childâs financial future. By frequently running credit reports, you can check for possible identity fraud. If you think that your identity has been stolen, you should freeze your credit to prevent future theft. Secure Your Wi-Fi Network Your home Wi-Fi allows your family to access the internet from anywhere in your home. If your network is not secure, hackers might use your connection, or worse, they may compromise your security. Hackers can infect your PC with malware or steal your information by having access to your network. Your home Wi-Fi acts as an entry point for hackers, so make sure it is secure. Protect Digital Documents With the increase of specific medical technologies, digital medical records are also at risk of being hacked. Since HIPPA laws prevent the sharing of medical records, a hack that compromises digital records can be both unsettling and stressful. Make sure that your physician is using a secure and encrypted platform for storing and sharing medical records to avoid a security breach. Stay Safe on Social Media Everyone is on social media these days, so make sure youâre being safe. Donât talk about vacation plans or absences on social media. Doing so leaves your home at risk of a break-in. Donât share photos with identifiable details like a license plate, address, street sign, etc. Also make sure that your family is not utilizing social media âcheck-inâ options. This allows you to tell people on social media where a specific photo is taken or where you are during a certain period of time. This increases the risk of a potential robbery while you are gone. Keep Your Business Safe Only Share Necessary Information Make sure that the information you share is necessary. Limit access to information only to those that need to see it. There is downloadable software that can monitor communications to make sure that certain documents and information are not leaked. For a business that works with remote access employees, consider requiring more than one username and password to gain access to documents. Companies make tokens that display a regularly updated second password. This can help ensure that the documents you are sharing are only being seen by who they are intended for. Protect Your Customers Companies like MasterCard and Visa require most online businesses to verify the steps they have taken to prevent fraud. These steps are things like data encryption that help to protect customers when they use their credit or debit cards online. If you are concerned that complying with these big corporate standards will be challenging for your smaller business, you can outsource payment processing through companies like PayPal. A good way to protect your customersâ information while also offering them a safe and easy way to sign documents is to require e-signatures or digital signatures. These are the most secure ways to get signatures. This type of signature ensures that it will not be stolen from hackers. A valid signature from a customer can be incredibly valuable to a hacker. Backup Your Data Make sure to frequently backup your companyâs data. This can help you recover what you may have lost in the event that your information is attacked. From a financial standpoint, customer records, business plans, and personal information are the most important to keep backed up. This will help lessen the damage if there is a computer problem or a security breach. A good backup system has daily incremental backups to either a cloud storage or a portable device. The system you chose should have both end-of-week and quarterly server backup options. Choose Strong Passwords This one should go without saying, but strong password improve your digital security, period. Make sure to change your passwords frequently and make them difficult to guess. Protecting your finances is the primary reason for having a strong password. If you use the same password for all of your accounts, you put yourself at risk of coming under cyberattacks. Consider disabling administrative access to accounts completely to avoid the risk of an attacker gaining access to your business documents. Attackers can gain full access to your systems with access to an administrator-level account clearance. Prevent Malware Malware is a malicious software whose sole purpose is to infiltrate or damage a PC or network without making the owner aware. Keeping malware away from your business is essential not only for your security but for the security of your consumers. People are employed as white hat hackers to help organizations learn where loopholes and problems lie in these types of security systems. This makes the internet safer for everyone. Make sure to apply a firewall on your network and PC. The best security software to purchase goes beyond just a standard level of protection without slowing down your PC or network. Choose a protection solution that protects against high-risk websites, hacker attacks, and identity theft. The internet is a wondrous place full of infinite knowledge and resources for both your family and your business. By making sure your information stays safe you ensure a life full of successful internet use. This guest post was authored by Brooke Faulkner Brooke Faulkner is a writer, mom and adventurer in the Pacific Northwest. She spends her days pondering what makes a good leader. How to Implement a Blogging Routine With a Busy Schedule - Classy Career Girl
How to Implement a Blogging Routine With a Busy Schedule Question: âHow do you implement a blogging routine with everyday life? -Laura Welcome to CCGTV! This is a daily video show where I answer your questions! Every weekday on YouTube, Iâll be answering YOUR questions and I am super excited!! If you have a question you would like me to answer on a future episode of CCGTV, leave a comment below or email me at anna@classycareergirl.com. How to Implement a Blogging Routine With a Busy Schedule 1. The key is to plan ahead. I plan a month ahead and write down what we are going to write about each day. I would recommend figuring out how many times you want to post every week. Maybe three times a week or one time per week (or daily if you are really motivated like us at CCG). Before the month starts, I have planned out the ideas and topics of what I want to blog about. Then a week in the advance, I make sure content and photos are ready and that it has been edited, reviewed and scheduled. I also make sure all of my guest contributors articles are pre-planned for the month. This is why if you submit an article, I also request that it is submitted by the first of every month. Batching and planning ahead is my number 1 tip for you. I recommend scheduling a week or month in advance. I love knowing the topics so when I wake up, I can start typing and I know exactly what to write about rather than wasting my precious morning focus time to brainstorm. Note: Make sure you grab my beginners blog checklist here. 2. Install the WordPress Editorial Calendar I also recommend creating your blog on a WordPress site and installing the WordPress Editorial Calendar plugin. This plugin makes it easy because you can plan out exactly what you are going to write about for the month. You can put the blog in as draft, pending or scheduled. This is great if you work with a team and have multiple writers, contributors and editors. Heres a screenshot of my current calendar this month. If you dont have WordPress account, you can do this with any calendar you have on hand. 3. Find Your Best Time I know its hard to find the time to blog. Now this is my full time job but when I started my blog in 2010, I had a full time job and I was going to business school at night. I know its hard. Its very important to figure out when you write the best. When are you the most excited and focused to blog? My editorial schedule back then was to blog once per week and I would write the post in the morning. I woke up an hour before I went to work and that was my time. I could read and blog. My morning is really when I do my best writing. Thats my creative hour. If you want more info, I put together all of the tools I use in this blog checklist.

How To Be Generous Without Feeling Used - Kathy Caprino
How To Be Generous Without Feeling Used If youâre like me, you want to be generous to others, and give help in an abundant, loving way to those who need it. You also want to feel like youâre making a difference, that you arenât stingy with your heart, time and knowledge. But if youâre like me, working in a helping profession or support capacity as your livelihood, that can be really difficult at times. I hear from hundreds of people each month who are deeply longing for assistance with their lives, work and businesses, and I can find myself frustrated and exhausted, feeling disappointed that, as one person, Im just not enough. And sometimes, I stretch myself too thin, and then feel resentful. Every year, Iâll have a period of time where this conflict â" feeling generous vs. feeling used â" comes up for me in a new way that makes me stop in my tracks. This month, I had an experience once again that prompted me to rethink the issue once more. After reading the powerful book The Diamond Cutter, by Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally (a powerful, thought-provoking book â" check it out!), I was led to recognize once again just how potent our thoughts are, and how they impact our reality. The book helped me see that, while I long to be generous with others, and give the help they need and want, without an appropriate boundary and a more positive mindset that I must continually nurture, people will cross into the realm of being extremely needy, demanding and grasping. Or thatâs how I perceive it, anyway. Iâve found that thinking through these three powerful questions helps me feel more generous and helpful in my life and work. They prompt me to give more freely, while at the same time preserving and protecting my life energy, time and well-being. Perhaps these three questions will help you too: 1. What does âgenerousâ and âgivingâ really mean to you? Itâs critical to think about how you personally define âgenerosityâ and âgivingâ and to assess if your personal definition is working for you in your life. So, when you think of being âgenerous,â does it mean you are obligated to say âyesâ to every request that comes to you? Does it mean that you have to catch every single ball thatâs thrown at you? Which requests make your heart sing to fulfill, and which make you cringe? Do you put parameters on the types of people you are happy to help, versus those you may need to walk away from? Iâve found that when I think a bit more deeply about how I want to be generous in the world, and dimensionalize that more clearly with specifics that make sense in my life, the road becomes smoother in terms of my giving in ways that fill me up rather than deplete me. And once I become clearer about the types of help I want to give, and those I dont, I begin to experience less of what is undesirable in my life. 2. Is your inability to say ânoâ â" your lack of boundaries making you feel resentful when you help? To me, being generous doesnât mean that you canât say ânoâ to anyone. It also doesnât mean that, if your work involves offering a helping service, that you canât ask for payment for what you do. If you are besieged with endless requests for free help, think about how you feel about asking for money and charging appropriately for the help youâre giving. If you canât do it, or if you feel reluctant, ashamed or confused about when and how to ask for money, thereâs a critical issue you have to work out. For me, Iâll stop, breathe, and ask myself, âWhat feels right here to do?â And Iâll go with my gut and my heart. If Iâm simply unable to offer any kind of help, I will do my best to point them in a direction that will be of assistance. Iâve also found that having a range of high-quality free and low-cost programs, support, and materials is a wonderful way to offer help to the thousands of people who may not be able to afford working with me directly. Or directing them to another high-quality source of help, or another individual who might have the resources they need, is a great form of support. Opening just one door for another is generosity in action. Help doesnât have to take hours and hours, and drain you to the point of exhaustion. The key is to look at what is underneath your resentment and conflict around offering help. If itâs a reluctance to charge enough money or be fairly compensated for the service youâre offering, heal that reluctance (heres more about changing your wealth programming.) If itâs about not having any other way to help people than to charge them, brainstorm some new ways to be helpful. And finally, if itâs about your needing some help yourself, go out and ask for it today. 3. Are your negative thoughts about receiving requests for help coloring everything? Finally, take a look at your chronic pattern of thought when it comes to people asking for help. When they come to you, do you immediately go to the negative place, thinking âOh, no â" not this again!â or âCanât she just help herself for once?,â or âHow dare he keep asking for help when I just gave it.â Perhaps as a child you were influenced by how your parents thought about people who asked for help. Or maybe you were taught that asking for help means youre weak and lazy. Examine how your negative thoughts about these requests may in fact be coloring your entire work-life experience. Every time a request for help comes in, stop, breathe, and consciously make a decision about how you want to feel about it, and address it. Our thoughts shape what happens in our lives, and how we experience our work, so itâs important to gain awareness of them, and choose to think and feel the way we want to. Ive found that when we engage in this simple process â" stop, breathe, and choose not only do we feel better in the process of giving, but we set up the conditions to receive more respect, appreciation and gratitude for what weâre doing in the world. We lose the resentment and the struggle, and thats critical if we want more success and happiness. If youre angry and resentful about people reaching out to you, then youll push away the positive as well as the negative. Once we decide to consciously choose our reactions instead, life changes for the better. That, in turn, fills us up to be of greater help in ways that nourish and enliven us all along the way. Are you feeling beleaguered by constant requests for free help?

Facing the Fear Take Control of Your Career Transition - Hallie Crawford
Facing the Fear Take Control of Your Career Transition Thinking of making a career change immobilizes most people with fear. Whether you are aiming for a slight adjustment or a dramatic shift, altering your career path in any way can be overwhelming. And letâs face it â" conducting a job search is not anyoneâs idea of a good time. Often, job seekers choose to ignore the challenge instead of face it head-on. As a result, they end up years later in the same job they do not enjoy, wondering where the time went. We gets calls all the time from clients who tell us, âI have been thinking about making a change for five years, I just never did anything about it.â We know this happens frequently because of the negative statistics that come out every few years regarding job satisfaction. One of the latest surveys shows that 44% of the workforce is unsatisfied. What keeps us stagnant is fear, plain and simple. The first two things you have to understand about the process of changing jobs are: 1) You need to identify what holds you back from your career goals before you can move towards those goals. Not understanding the obstacles means when you hit a brick wall, you will stop instead of continuing on. 2) You must understand the mental game of career transition and how it is âmake or breakâ to your success in that transition. Making this kind of change is as much a mental game as playing a sport is. Why? Because our jobs pay our bills and our identity is often wrapped up in what we do. It is much easier to ignore our dissatisfaction until it reaches an incredibly high level and, until then, we muddle through. It is like an old pair of slippers that do not fit anymore; at least we know what to expect! Here are three ways to face the fear and prevent it from holding you back in your transition. Step #1: Identify and face the fear. Be aware of the obstacles and how you view your career transition. Complete these exercises: When you think of career change, what words and emotions come up first? Some may be negative, some may be positive. Circle the negative ones. Those are the fears or obstacles you need to overcome for your transition. For each negative thought, determine how you can manage it. Do you need to replace it with an affirmation, for example, or learn to push it aside? Choose ONE to work on this week. In order to make your transition successful, and muster up the courage to even take that first step, you must face the fear directly. Step #2: Actively manage. Create a system to remind you to manage this negative thought. Is it a Post-It note on your desk or bathroom mirror? Does journaling work well for you? You can journal about your thoughts in the evening. Whatever works best for you, make a commitment to manage it proactively and a structure to remind you to do so regularly. Step #3: Visualize your success. It all starts with attitude. Your fears affect your attitude, and your attitude affects your action steps. One way to face your fears and adjust your attitude is to think about who you need to be to implement the change. Brave, willing to take risks, more confident? You cannot just take action; you have to take it in the right way. And we cannot always just say, âI will take these actions,â we need to visualize who we need to be in order to step into the right mindset. Here is an exercise for this: Fast-forward 10â"20 years (whatever timeframe is comfortable for you). If you have any personal qualities you aspire to have, like confidence, wisdom, communication skills, or anything else â" which ones will get you to be successful in your transition? Write down two of those now. Then think of one person in your life who has that quality. Think about them for inspiration when you need it. Make a commitment to face the fear head on. The number one obstacle preventing career seekers from finding their ideal job is not knowing their direction in the first place. It starts with you. Watch this video to learn more about taking the risks required to manage your transition and how to mitigate them.
